    "message": "Full-screen cards stack below modals, dismiss stray overlays (#1361)\n\n* fix(card): stack full-screen cards below modals, dismiss stray overlays\n\nFull-screen cards previously sat at Bootstrap's popover z-index tier\n(1070), so modal dialogs -- including Shiny's showModal() dialogs and\nprogress indicators -- painted behind an expanded card. Cards now stack\nin the offcanvas tier ($zindex-offcanvas, 1045), below modals, with the\ncard backdrop at $zindex-offcanvas-backdrop (1040), mirroring the\noffcanvas/backdrop pairing. Both levels are configurable at runtime via\nthe new --bslib-card-full-screen-z-index and\n--bslib-card-full-screen-backdrop-z-index CSS custom properties.\n\nTooltips and popovers triggered elsewhere in the app would still paint\nabove the expanded card, so entering full screen now dismisses open\ndropdowns, tooltips, and popovers whose triggers live outside the card\nbeing expanded, including bslib's web-component variants.\n\nThe full-screen enter button now shares the card's z-index variable and\nstays hidden while a nested bslib-offcanvas is open or transitioning,\nso it no longer paints through the offcanvas backdrop.\n\nFixes #1360\n\n* fix(card): robustly dismiss stray overlays when entering full screen\n\nWhen a card enters full screen, open tooltips and popovers are now\nfound via their visible overlay element and its aria-describedby link\nto the trigger, rather than by data-bs-toggle attributes on the\ntrigger.
